11 games in four days will decide the 2010 ACC Tournament Championship. The event is back in Greensboro this year, and with North Carolina having a down year, this is basically Duke vs. the field. Can someone knock off the Blue Devils, who have won the title eight times since 1999? We'll know by Sunday afternoon. more >>
Linebacker Curtis Grant is without doubt the headliner of Hermitage (Richmond, VA) varsity football's junior class, but Panthers head coach Patrick Kane boasts other standout talents as well. First-team Times-Dispatch all-metro cornerback Brandon Rogers and second-team all-metro selections Diamonte Bailey and Brendan Riddick are also drawing interest from FBS programs. more >>
Phoebus (Hampton, VA) linebacker Caleb Taylor just picked up two more official scholarship offers, with Louisville and Maryland coming through for the 6-2, 230-pound junior. Virginia and West Virginia had offered previously and Taylor was able to visit Virginia this past weekend. more >>

Manchester (Midlothian, VA) offensive lineman Jake Goins received an offer from Virginia Tech last Thursday, less than a week after attending Virginia Tech's junior day. On Saturday, he attended the University of Virginia's junior day event. The 6-5, 280-pound junior discusses his latest offer and his latest visit. more >>
Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA) linebacker prospect Travis Hughes did make the trek to the University of Virginia on Saturday, so he now has taken in junior days at Maryland, Virginia Tech and Virginia over the past month. All three schools impressed the 6-1, 215-pound junior, who has become one of the state's most highly recruited prospects. more >>

Malcolm Delaney was a unanimous pick by all 53 voters for this year's All-ACC team, which was released on Monday. He joins two other conference players, Greivis Vasquez and Jon Scheyer, as unanimous selections. Virginia Tech's Dorenzo Hudson was selected to the third team. more >>
It's always noteworthy when history is made, and on Saturday, the Hokies reached a new high-water mark in program history with their 23rd regular season win. They did it in classic '09-'10 fashion, shorthanded and with their backs against the wall. They won anyway, and it's only fitting that a team that has consistently defied expectations gets to write its name in the record books. more >>

The regular season concluded over the weekend, and the ACC tournament field has been set. One team helped itself in their quest to make the NCAA tournament, and another suffered a damaging home loss. The Maryland Terrapins won a share of the regular season championship, while Saturday night's Duke-Carolina game wasn't the battle that we have grown accustomed to. more >>
